Mushroom Production


The potential in mushroom farming in the Philippines as a business is growing bigger. This technology shows the techniques devised to produce mushrooms in a more rapid but efficient time.

Dr. Rich Milton R. Dulay, Head of the Center of Tropical Mushroom Research and Development,
and Associate Professor V of the Department of Biological Sciences, College of Science, CLSU.

Dr. Dulay earned his Ph.D. in Biology from De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila under the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute - ASTHRDP scholarship program. He was a Fulbright Advanced Research Fellow at the National Center for Agricultural Utilization Research, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Illinois, USA.

He has published several research articles in the Web of Science (WOS)- and Scopus-indexed journals including PLoS ONE, Biocatalysis and Agricultural Biotechnology, International Journal of Medicinal Mushrooms, Philippine Agricultural Scientist, and among others.
