LnB - Iloilo Chapter benchmarks at CLSU eFARM Academy

On June 20, 2022, Liga ng mga Barangay (LnB) - Iloilo Chapter headed by Hon. Dorothy G. Paes visited eFARM Academy with the aim of exploring and learning about the best practices and innovations in agriculture and agri-tourism farms developed by Central Luzon State University (CLSU) that they can possibly replicate in their province and respective municipalities.

After a short program at the Department of Hotel and Tourism Management (DHTM), College of Home Science and Industry (CHSI), CLSU, the project team organized a campus tour featuring four of the agri-fishery technologies for the visitors to personally learn various farming techniques and innovations through a short lecture by the resource persons. They had the chance to visit RM-CARES for organic farming; SRC for goat production; CTMRD for mushroom production; and PAGASA for Indoor Vertical Farming System (IVFS) set-up.

Hon. Paes expressed her gratitude to the project team in accommodating their request to visit and learn from its featured technologies. “I hope amin din itong ma-implement o maibahagi sa aming bawat bayan pag-uwi namin [sa Iloilo]”, she stated in her message.

This adds to the growing benchmarking activities of various organizations and institutions to eFARM Academy and we look forward to a lot more in the future.
