On August 4, 2022, the project team, together with Mr. Melchor P. Pascua, headed back to Anao, Tarlac to turnover the start-up kits for organic-based onion production. They were joined by Municipal Mayor Hon. Gian Pierre O. Dedios, Vice Mayor Hon. Jocelyn Concepcion-Punzalan, SB Member on Agriculture Hon. Wilmer J. Tabile, other SB Member, and the Municipal Agriculture Officer Alvin Butay. Also present were the five beneficiaries of the start-up kits.
A technical briefing with questions and answers was facilitated by Mr. Pascua before the official turn over of the start-up kits. “Sa dami ng ibinigay sa atin ng CLSU at eFARM [Academy], kailangan naman na maibalik at maipakita natin ang quality at assured farming,” a noteworthy message from Mr. Domingo Aquino, one of the beneficiaries.
A technical briefing with questions and answers was facilitated by Mr. Pascua before the official turn over of the start-up kits. “With the training and materials provided to us by CLSU and eFARM [Academy], it is only fair for us to return the favor and show them a quality and assured farming,” a noteworthy message from Mr. Domingo Aquino, one of the beneficiaries.
Also, Mr. Butay reiterated a message to the beneficiaries, “Ang hinihingi lang namin, syempre malaki ang tulong ng CLSU at eFARM, yung gamitin nyo yung natutunan nyo at ibigay nyo ang best nyo para sa gayon ay makahikayat tayo at mapapapunta natin ang iba pang farmers na katulad niyo para mabisita [ang integrated farms ninyo].” Further, Mr. Jerome Salazar, an Agricultural Technician for high value crops, added, “Pwede tayong magkaroon ng field day o demo farm." After the technical briefing, Mr. Roger Sore, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his gratitude to CLSU and eFARM Academy for the assistance they had received.
Also, Mr. Butay reiterated a message to the beneficiaries, “The only thing we’re asking of you, with the help that CLSU and eFARM [Academy] provided, is for all of you to use your learning and to give your best so we could persuade other farmers to visit [our integrated farms].” Further, Mr. Jerome Salazar, an Agricultural Technician for high value crops, added, “We could possibly organize a field day or [develop a] demo farm." After the technical briefing, Mr. Roger Sore, one of the beneficiaries, expressed his gratitude to CLSU and eFARM Academy for the assistance they had received.
