Organic-based onion production video shoot

Organic onion production is a production system that does not utilize any synthetic fertilizer or any poisonous chemicals.

As part of the courses’ learning materials, the second video shoot showcasing the technology of organic onion featuring Dr. Jonathan L. Galindez as the resource person was conducted last December 21, 2021 at Ramon Magsaysay Center for Agricultural Resources and Environmental Studies (RM-CARES), CLSU.

Dr. Galindez emphasized that with organic onion, production cost of the farmers will decrease ensuring their net income, and safety of the consumers will also be guaranteed.

The activity was headed by its Project Leader, Ms. Maria Adrielle S. Estigoy, together with its research assistants.
