LGU Dingalan visits eFARM Academy at CLSU

Following the success of the capacity building and turn-over of start-up kits in Dingalan, the LGU of the said municipality visits eFARM Academy at CLSU on September 16, 2022. This was graced by Ms. Mina Dicen as the Municipal Agriculturist, Ms. Veronica Cordova, staff from the Municipal Agriculture Office, and farmers from Dingalan.

The LGU has targeted to visit the Small Ruminant Center and the Center for Tropical Mushroom Research and Development (CTMRD). This is in line with the recent capacity building in which the farmers and participants were allowed to learn about the technology of goat production and mushroom production. They were highly encouraged to experience firsthand the actual facilities and processes conducted by CLSU on the said technologies.

According to Ms. Cordova, one of the staff from the Municipal Agriculture Office of Dingalan, the activity was of great help to them as they will be fully equipped with the knowledge they’ve learned from the eFARM Academy. This will give them more ideas about the technologies imparted upon them to fully adopt what they have learned.

The LGU of Dingalan, Aurora is looking forward to the establishment of their Incubation Hub and they aim to showcase their produced mushrooms. Their partnership with CLSU will remain in hand, albeit at the end of eFARM Academy Phase 1.
